SLC Rail has supported the County Council to deliver the project, helping to make it possible and guiding us with their rail expertise.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s2\">This is an excellent example of improving connectivity to benefit the community, while reducing congestion in Worcestershire through investment in new rail infrastructure.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s2\">Ian Walters, Managing Director of SLC Rail said:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cWe\u2019re proud to have worked with Worcestershire County Council on this project, which is making a positive difference to the region\u2019s connectivity and economic prosperity.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cThis has been a complex project but the effort and skill that has gone into every part of the station clearly demonstrates what is possible with third party investment.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s2\">Ian Baxter, Director of the North Cotswold Line Task Force, and SLC Rail\u2019s Strategy Director said:<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cWorcestershire Parkway marks the beginning of a wider transport transformation for the North Cotswold Line between Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire and London. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cSLC Rail is developing the Task Force\u2019s case for more frequent, faster services on the line.
