{"id":1572,"date":"2020-08-17T09:21:41","date_gmt":"2020-08-17T08:21:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/slcrail.com\/?p=1572"},"modified":"2020-08-17T09:21:41","modified_gmt":"2020-08-17T08:21:41","slug":"slc-rail-announces-two-new-appointments-to-key-management-positions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/slcrail.com\/slc-rail-announces-two-new-appointments-to-key-management-positions\/","title":{"rendered":"SLC Rail announces two new appointments to key management positions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SLC Rail is pleased to announce the appointment of Ashley Gierth as Head of Programme Controls and Mark Finney as HSEQ Manager.<\/p>\n<p>Ashley\u2019s key role will be to further improve our project controls, he joins SLC Rail from Geobear Infrastructure where he was the UK Rail Director.\u00a0 Prior to that, he held a number of senior positions in the rail industry and on UK PFI projects, including at Van Elle Rail, AMCO, Carillion Rail, Balfour Beatty, Jarvis Rail and John Laing Plc.<\/p>\n<p>Mark Finney joins us from West Midlands Trains, although he also brings a wealth of experience of Health and Safety knowledge from his time in the construction and offshore sectors.\u00a0\u00a0 This has included extensive experience in Construction (Design and Management) regulations and in developing continuous improvement programmes.<\/p>\n<p>Ian Walters, Managing Director of SLC Rail said: \u201cWe\u2019re delighted to welcome Ashley and Mark to SLC Rail&#8217;s senior leadership team.\u00a0 Both bring a huge amount of experience from working not just in rail but also from a range of other sectors.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAshley is going to be key to supporting business growth through further developing our controls and processes. \u00a0While Mark\u2019s full experience will ensure the delivery of industry-leading Health and Safety systems.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This comes after SLC Rail was recently awarded three internationally recognised ISO accreditations.    \t<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SLC Rail is pleased to announce the appointment of Ashley Gierth as Head of Programme Controls and Mark Finney as HSEQ Manager.
