Bookkeeping and Administrative

A member of the SOLCA admin team since August 2023, is passionate about establishing a community arts center in the lakeside community while preserving the Waldorf spirit. A Duluth resident since 2017, Mariah, alongside her husband Tom, black lab Luna, and two daughters, Lucy and Nora, contributes to SOLCA's vibrant atmosphere.

Her extensive administrative experience, spanning various companies since 2013, is complemented by her unique background as a former member of the Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders for three seasons. Beyond her professional life, Mariah finds joy in running, hiking, outdoor exploring, and cherishing quality time with her family. Mariah's multifaceted journey reflects her commitment to both community building and the arts.

Programming and Design

Kayla has been a part of the Spirit of the Lake Community since 2017, initially drawn when her oldest child began attending the school. With a background in photography, art + design, keen eye for creativity, and passion for community engagement, she’s eagerly working to support SOLCA’s transition into a vibrant Community Arts Center.

In her personal life, Kayla cherishes all the fun and chaotic moments spent with her 3 kids + husband, and can be found soaking up some of the many great outdoor adventures Duluth offers.
